Cary and Fox River Grove business, government and community resources will be on display on Saturday, March 3 at the 30th Annual Community Showcase sponsored by the Cary Grove Area Chamber of Commerce. The event, free to the public, is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Cary-Grove High School.
“The Community Showcase is the once-a-year opportunity for local business and community organizations to connect with thousands of area residents in a single day,” said Chamber President Penny Verest of PrePaid Legal Services Identity Theft Shield.
“Equally, it’s the largest gathering of local Cary Grove area resources so residents can explore what’s available to them in their own backyard. “The Showcase is truly a family outing and a great place to spend the day” Verest said. “Many exhibitors conduct raffles and have giveaways. Food and entertainment are offered throughout the day.”
The Cary Grove’s Got Talent Competition will be held in the cafeteria during the Showcase March 3 starting at 10 a.m. The competition is open to youth ages 8 to 18. The number of acts will be limited. Cash prizes will be awarded. Call the Chamber to register your act. High school musicians will also perform.
