Chamber Event Connects 300 Women with Local Business
Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Big Hit with Local Women!

This year the Chamber will host its fifth annual Girls Just Wanna’ Have Fun event on Thursday, October 20 from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. The event gathers local women consumers to the Crystal Lake Holiday Inn for a fun evening of interaction with area business owners. It has become the #1 Girlfriends Night out and features an evening of shopping with vendors, free pampering services, free giveaways and raffle prizes, entertainment, drinks and appetizers.  The cost to attend is $20.

“This event has been such a big draw the last few years that our vendor booths sell out in a matter of days and our ticket sales quickly follow,” said Cary Grove Chamber Executive Director Suzanne Corr. “This is a girls outing with a purpose, to educate our local women about the dynamic array of products and services we offer right in our own community.”

The $20 girls ticket for attendees includes one free drink ticket, complimentary appetizers, a wine tasting hosted by 31 North Banquets & Conference Center, shopping with vendors, free mini massages and other pampering services, free prizes and giveaways.  Theater Underground Improv Comedy will perform and a grand prize of an overnight getaway to Key Lime Cove Resort in Gurnee will be given away.  The Girls event is sponsored by Double D Graphics, Andreano Chiropractic, Cary Area Public Library, Gypsy Glen K-9 Kastle Pet Resort, Money Mailer of Greater Woodfield, Northwest Herald, Sage Products, Inc., Strelcheck Chiropractic Clinic, and Walmart.
