    Job Title: Part-time, part-year administrative assistant
    RCW Tax Services is seeking an administrative assistant to manage the office, enter basic tax returns and handle scheduling and clerical duties for 2 CPA’s as needed.  The ability to multi-task, while greeting clients, scheduling appointments, answering the phone and managing administrative support is essential to this position.  The ideal candidate is resourceful, a good problem solver, good with numbers, able to think outside of the box, very detail oriented and organized.
    Responsibilities & duties:

    • Manage the phone and emails of new/old clients
    • Schedule appointments for the two CPA’s/maintain the office calendar
    • Organizing client documents for tax prep
    • Enter individual tax returns
    • Assemble tax returns for client signing
    • Receptionist duties include greeting clients
    • Light filing duties
    Qualifications & skills:
    • Detail oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
    • Superior communication skills
    • Exceptional organization skills
    • Ability to anticipate client & CPA needs for information
    • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency
    • Ability to handle situations without assistance from the CPA’s
    • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel
    • Trustworthy, honest, patient
    Seasonal:
    This position begins in January and ends around April 15th.  Positon will be less than 20 hours per week in January but then ramp up to 40 hours per week from February through April 15th.
