Home Instead Holiday Program Benefits Seniors

The “Be a Santa to a Senior” program coordinated by Home Instead Senior Care was a big success. About 179 local seniors received gifts, totaling over $5,000.

“This annual holiday program is in its sixth year of collecting gifts for financially challenge, isolated or lonely seniors in McHenry County and we couldn’t do it without the generous support of others.  Thanks to everyone who helped make this program a success,” said Crista Dusek, Community Service Representative.

Several organizations helped coordinate this project, including local groups, Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church and Cary-Grove High School. Home Instead Senior Care is a provider of non-medical care and can be reached at (847) 462-0303 or visit
