Merry Cary Parade

The Cary-Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Village of Cary, is very delighted to bring you the Merry Cary Parade-Turned Around 2020.  Our community's holiday spirit will be on display in the North Commuter Parking Lot. You are invited to enjoy this contact-free event from the comfort and safety of your own car as you drive past each of the creative holiday displays.

For the safety and respect for all involved, we ask:

• Cars should get in the line to enter the parade route on W. Main St. from Cary-Algonquin Rd.
  Entry to the parade route will only be via a left turn from W. Main St. onto High Rd.
• Please use the MIDDLE lane on W. Main St. to line up to enter the parade route.
• Cars will exit the parade route and cross W. Main St. to Jandus Rd.  The easiest and quickest exit from downtown would be to take Jandus Rd. to Jandus Cutoff to Northwest Highway.  Cars will not be able to turn on W. Main St. when exiting the parade route.
• We ask that you remain in your car while in the parade route.
• Cars must be in line by 3:00 p.m. to enter the parade route.
• This event is a drive-through reverse parade and is intended for people in cars only.  In order to be in accordance with the current mitigations and for the safety of all involved, no pedestrians may walk the parade route.
• All parade participants will be following guidelines from the McHenry County Health Department and masks will be worn for everyone's safety
